In-depth oceanographic research takes place over 10-weeks during the fall and spring of the school year. We will embark on a field study excursion and study off-shore marine habitats.

Students must be in grades 7 - 12. After school studies run from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. one afternoon per week.

There is no charge for this program for students from school systems that are full members of Project Oceanology.

Tutions cost for those students who are not part of a member district: $350

The State of Connecticut Department of Education has provided funding for additional students from the member districts, listed above, to participate in this program. However, only a limited number of students can participate from each school district. Participants are selected by teachers at their school. Please speak with your science teacher about applying!
