MARINE SCIENCE DAY
May 14, 2025 | 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Grades 4 - 8

Join us for a day of hands-on workshops at the 20th Annual Marine Science Day!
Marine Science Day is all about exploring the wonders of the Long Island Sound estuary and marine science. Students will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Sound and surrounding ecosystems through hands-on workshops led by Project Oceanology's marine science educators, UCONN professors, graduate students, and local environmental experts. Our goal is to encourage scientific thinking and bridge a stronger connection to our marine environment.

Participation in our boat excursion is not guaranteed. There are more participants in this event than we have boat capacity. A lottery system is used to select students for the boat trips. Please be sure your student(s) understand this process.
