Trip Description
Marine algae (seaweed) is of great importance to coastal and nearshore environments. In this lesson, students learn about seaweed anatomy and classification as they identify seaweed specimens. For lab programs taught at Project O only, students may have the opportunity to collect their own algae samples for this lab. Student algae collection is dependent on weather and tide.
