Trip Description
Each species of bird has a unique set of adaptations that help them survive, including their beak. Students will test a variety of tools that mimic different types of bird beaks. They will discuss how form is related to function in the different beaks, and what tasks each beak is best for.
Labs taught at Project Oceanology take place over 2.5 hours so this program plus one additional lab of your choosing will be taught.
Labs taught at your location will take place during the school day. The timing will depend on the number of classes/sections in your grade level or course. One lab program is taught per visit.
