Trip Description
Students rotate in small groups between bins containing a variety of organisms from Long Island Sound. Students will use a dichotomous key to identify phyla, genus and species of each organism.
Labs taught at Project Oceanology take place over 2.5 hours so this program plus one additional lab of your choosing will be taught.
Labs taught at your location will take place during the school day. The timing will depend on the number of classes/sections in your grade level or course. One lab program is taught per visit.
