Hermit crabs are common in shallow water. Did you know they are often home to other smaller animals too? Students will meet and touch live hermit crabs, read a story, and create a hermit crab model of their own.

Labs taught at Project Oceanology take place over 2.5 hours so this program plus one additional lab of your choosing will be taught.

Labs taught at your location will take place during the school day. The timing will depend on the number of classes/sections in your grade level or course. One lab program is taught per visit.
