Trip Description
Sea turtles migrate right past our coast, and this lesson brings their world to life! Students rotate through hands‑on stations to explore what sea turtles eat, discover their amazing adaptations, compare turtles, tortoises, and sea turtles, and learn how humans impact them at every life stage. With engaging activities at each stop—and a take‑home model they create themselves—students dive deeper into the science of these incredible animals.
Labs taught at Project Oceanology take place over 2.5 hours so this program plus one additional lab of your choosing will be taught.
Labs taught at your location will take place during the school day. The timing will depend on the number of classes/sections in your grade level or course. One lab program is taught per visit.
