Students compare the data they have collected to a sample dataset. There are two options: the nearshore fish diversity data analysis activity can be used with any nearshore fish study, while the silverside data analysis activity is designed for classes that collect a dataset on size classes of Atlantic Silverside populations.

Labs taught at Project Oceanology take place over 2.5 hours so this program plus one additional lab of your choosing will be taught.

Labs taught at your location will take place during the school day. The timing will depend on the number of classes/sections in your grade level or course. One lab program is taught per visit.
