Highlights
Program Duration: 1.25 Hours
Trip Season: Sept-June
Student Limit: Up to 25
Science Standard: LS1-2
Trip Description
Fish living in estuarine environments frequently must cope with dramatic fluctuations in temperature and other environmental variables. In this lab, students will study the physiological response of fish to rapid temperature change, and then discuss how this might impact their ecology.
Labs taught at Project Oceanology take place over 2.5 hours so this program plus one additional lab of your choosing will be taught.
Labs taught at your location will take place during the school day. The timing will depend on the number of classes/sections in your grade level or course. One lab program is taught per visit.
