Trip Description

Students will use a variety of methods to sample living things in Long Island Sound. Students will pull in a lobster trap, haul the trawl net in two different locations, tow a plankton net and sort through a mud grab.

To prepare for this trip: Students should wear closed toed shoes and dress for the weather. Remember, it's typically colder and windier by the water. Dressing in layers is recommended. Life jackets will be provided.
