Trip Description
Seals are a migratory species to Long Island Sound during our wintering months. Students will investigate seal adaptations such as whiskers, blubber, anatomy, and food chains through station rotations.
Labs taught at Project Oceanology take place over 2.5 hours so this program plus one additional lab of your choosing will be taught.
Labs taught at your location will take place during the school day. The timing will depend on the number of classes/sections in your grade level or course. One lab program is taught per visit.
