Trip Description
Harbor seals are a marine mammal that can be found in Long Island Sound over the winter months. Students will test different materials in ice to determine how seals stay warm.
Labs taught at Project Oceanology take place over 2.5 hours so this program plus one additional lab of your choosing will be taught.
Labs taught at your location will take place during the school day. The timing will depend on the number of classes/sections in your grade level or course. One lab program is taught per visit.
