Trip Description

Students will work as a class and in small groups to create posters to serve as models of the external and internal anatomy of the squid. Each team will be responsible for an in-depth study of an assigned organ system through student-led dissection. Models will include sketches and diagrams with labels, student-generated definitions, comparisons to other model organisms, and observations and questions.

Labs taught at Project Oceanology take place over 2.5 hours so this program plus one additional lab of your choosing will be taught.

Labs taught at your location will take place during the school day. The timing will depend on the number of classes/sections in your grade level or course. One lab program is taught per visit.
